Matthew and I have been married since 2020 and just recently moved to our new property. Our property is nestled back in Tobaccoville, NC. My love for animals has ran deep ever since I was a little girl. Growing up, my mom taught me how important animals are in this world and how to love and care for them. My mom always helped the animals in our community. There was always a dog or two running through our house at all times. Matthew grew up with a few pets but was never too interested in them like I was. In Summer 2020, I wanted to get into riding horses and bought my first horse, Ransome. Ransome was the start to our soon to be farm! Chewy, Matthew, has always supported my animal obsession and has learn to roll his eyes at my trailer when it rolls up carrying a new Butner addition. Today our Ranch provides a home from multiple types of farm animals. This year Chewy and I plan on adding more Highland Cows to start our breeding program. One day we would like to add some Angus Cows to our herd so we can offer fresh and homegrown beef. As of right now we are offering fresh eggs, produce and flowers (when in season). We also host fun workshops and allow local photographers to come out and use our property and herd for photos. Chewy and I are so excited for this new chapter in our lives!
